Born Didam Iliya Ajeye but popularly know as D.I.A (Didam Is Amazing) is an award winning rapper/Producer from Kaduna State, Nigeria.
His unique style of music can only be likened with Aces like Lupe Fiasco, Talib Kweli, kanye West, Common sense and J-cole. All of whom have influenced his style.
He possesses this versatility & lyrical prowess that allows him paint pictures, tell stories, entertain and at the same time educate or inspire his listeners.
The right genre to classify his style of music could be tagged #GoodAndIntelligentMusic as he is blessed with a very aberrant flow, cunning pen skill and great command of words.
Over the years, he has achieved a lot and made a name for himself even as an independent artiste.
He has in the last 5 years been more active than ever in the music scene.
In 2014, he released his debut mixtape
"Too Much Intellisense" which got a lot of credit from the Nigerian hiphop community.
In 2016, he yet again put out one of the best rap compilations to be ever made by a Nigerian artiste
"Rise Above Peer Pressure" mixtape which got him lots of recognition and accolades locally and internationally.
He has still gone ahead to drop very hot singles over time and isn't ready to take a break yet as he plans to drop another body of work soon.
He has featured on over 100 songs in the last 4 years and having shared a stage with some of Nigeria's great music icons comprising a list of Burnaboi, Jesse Jagz, Terry tha Rapman, Pherowshuz, B.O.C, Classic and a lot more, it can be said that D.I.A is on the path to becoming an icon as well with lots of accolades to his name already ranging from being awarded the Rap artiste of the year at the 2016 edition of the Kaduna Entertainment Awards.
He was also made an Ambassador of The Nelson's Master Peace. An international foundation founded by the Late Nelson Mandela in 2016.
